MINNEAPOLIS, June 1 (Reuters) - Federal prosecutors will not bring charges against two Minneapolis police officers involved in the shooting death of a 24-year-old black man, due to insufficient evidence, officials said at a news conference on Wednesday.

Local prosecutors also previously decided not to bring charges against officers Mark Ringgenberg and Dustin Schwarze, both white, because evidence showed the shooting victim, Jamar Clark, at one point had his hand on one of the officers' guns. (Writing by Fiona Ortiz)
